Thanks for checking out my portfolio. My name is Nkosi (N-kosi), friends call me Kosi.

Kosilex Photography, was an idea, that developed from my love for taking candid photos, no photoshop, no filter.

"I like to capture the moments in time that will last you a lifetime. A picture is worth a thousand memories."

My passion is portraiture photography. It's my pleasure to shoot active, fun & lifestyle portraits of people enjoying life. I have enjoyed capturing masqueraders at Carnival, guests at weddings and patrons at various events. 

My client’s personalities and identity shine through the camera lens, whether I’m capturing them in traditional studio portraits or outdoors with nature and the cityscape as the backdrop. I also enjoy making people laugh, so that helps. You may have heard that "Trinis" like to have fun.

 

Trinidad is my homeland, born and raised. I relocated to the USA for college, I’ve explored various careers, ultimately leading me to pursue my passions.

I’m a father of two exuberant toddler boys and one old faithful dog named Wilkens.

Anyone that knows me, knows my love for my kids, my dog and my homeland is real.

I’m now based in Miami, FL, where the pulse of Caribbean culture is strong.

Hence, my t-shirt apparel line Caribbean Strong, where I honor the strength and spirit of Caribbean people who have migrated to the United States to follow their dreams.
